She is an extensively experienced, professionally qualified Systemic (family) practitioner with over 25 years’ experience of working with adults, adolescents, children and their families.
Having a specialist interest in child, adolescent and family wellbeing she can offer therapy services for a wide range of psychological problems including anxiety; low mood/depression and self- harm; mood related sleep issue; behavioural difficulties; emotional problems; relationship difficulties; family dynamics; bereavement; to name just a few..
Her work with young people, parents and carers draws upon different therapeutic approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy; family sessions; counselling; relaxation/breathing techniques; guided imagery and mindfulness techniques.
Rashmi is warm, empathetic and can offer confidential and non-judgement space to explore your worries.

What is Mindfulness?
Decades of research shows that mindfulness is one of the most effective methods of enhancing wellbeing and reducing day to day stress and anxiety. The practice of mindfulness also enriches concentration, focus and sense of calm, thereby supporting overall wellbeing.
Rashmi's mindfulness stems from both her personal practice and professional background.
Trained to deliver Mindfulness Practice with the Youth Mindfulness Programme at University of Westminster.she can deliver cutting edge techniques and support.
During the Mindfulness sessions, young people canl learn to improve their concentration, regulate emotions and enhance their happiness through breathing and developing their self-awareness.
Registered with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and have enhanced DBS check.
We can offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss any worries or questions you may have, or just to clarify the process of therapy.
Alternatively, you may wish to book an initial assessment appointment with your child so that we can meet and decide together if I’m the right therapist for you.
Being able to trust and engage with your therapist is the most essential element for the therapy to be helpful.
£ 70 for Initial meeting - 1 hour
£70 for family sessions
£60 for Individual sessions - 50mins
