Theresa Hughes LCH, MARH

Homeopath

Theresa has been interested in homeopathy and holistic medicine for most of her life. This became practical after treating her daughter as she grew up, with homeopathic First Aid remedies. The quick results and recovery she had after illness encouraged her to find out more, eventually leading to studying homeopathic medicine.

Graduating from the College of Homeopathy, London (the longest established college in UK) in 1998, after a four-year course she worked from home developing and refining her unique skills. Then in 2000, she decided work in a clinic, presenting more of a professional approach to her patients.

We are glad that she decided to join the Osteopathic House in 2001 and she has been a key figure ever since. Laughter, comfort and a warm reception is always available especially if Theresa is around. She continues to make children, adults and even those that can`t decide feel as welcome and jolly as she would a member of her own family. In 2002 she continued studies to advance professional development and attained membership to the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (MARH), where she is also insured. Since qualifying she has given introductory and First Aid talks on homeopathy for minor ailments and does so whenever asked.

Last but not least Theresa is qualified in EFT (emotional freedom therapy) and as with everything she does, she commits fully to help her clients.

Homeopathy is a complementary medicine and so will work alongside conventional treatments. During pregnancy and childbirth many women consider using homeopathy because it is a safe and effective form of medicine. Theresa supports patients during pregnancy labour and afterwards with homeopathic treatment.

Theresa also runs a low cost children’s clinic on a Monday afternoon at The Osteopathic House for reduced fees. Please consult our Fees page.
